. . . to id this:
.
anyone?
pukka pie. chips. peas.
MUSHY peas, at that.
Theres katsup all over it sicko... otherwise known as tommy sauce. looking at the bake colour (color) its probably minced beef (not burgers) as steak (not 20oz) and kidney should have some seepage.
I'd have opted for the battered sausage (grease wanger) over the pie (hardly a pie) - and maybe some curry sauce. (not really curry is it now)
What ever happened to pea clusters (deep fried battered mushy pea balls)? ooohh.. they were brilliant (like.. totally awesome).
. . . um, ok. so you get this in the street and bring it back to your desk?
or, was that pukka like a brand?
. . . "Jennie is a leading sports scientist and nutritionist. She also has 168 caps playing hockey for England and will be representing Great Britain at the Beijing Olympics in 2008."
?!
looks beautiful... like a ray of sunshine on a rainy day...
I love their advertising.
Pukka Pies is an aspirational brand:

This date is definitely going to end in high class sex. He's glad he didn't get a battered sausage now!

YES! A pie in bed really turns the misses on!
- the ads don't feature the peas, or, the tommy sauce. does that mean something?
The peas and sauces come into play later, off camera.
Kennedy's is the best fish and chip shop in London and is at the bottom of my road in Streatham Hill.
YEAH!
That looks delightful.
Pie. (Possibly Pukka, yes a brand)
Chips. They look like they are fresh, as they haven't stuck together.
Mushy peas. Processed, and tasty.
Tomato ketchup.
I would like gravy as well.
some cheese on top of those chips. cheesy chips. and a can of ginger beer for swills sake *sluurrp*
Cheesy curly fries and a bottle of either Irn Bru or Dandelion & Burdoch. Or black-current and lemonade. Yeah...
Fukka Pukka
just struck me reviewing this that a battered sausage might be a sausage dipped in a batter and deep fried . . .
English food is so so disgusting! bah... :-(
Salt & vinegar crisps and the bakery are generally good though! :)

Yes every year, last year Thailand, Portugal and Spain, this year China, Japan and Germany.
Your mistaking English/British food with fast food junk, thats not English/British food at all.
Look at some of the greatest chef's on the planet, Heston / Ramsay / Wareing all British and also Heston's Fat Duck restaurant has been voted the greatest place to eat on Earth.
Look further than a fast food menu for great food here, there's loads of it.
I've said it before, but Angela Hartnett is one of the best chefs to have ever cooked my food for me.
Y-uh-um.
